Privacy and saved places

Dumela stores your favourite listing IDs against your account. Your favourites belong to your account and are not displayed to other visitors. Remove a favourite to delete that saved entry.

If you previously saved favourites in this browser, you can choose to add them to your account. The browser copy is removed only after the account save succeeds.

Listing suggestions

Suggestions store the details you submit, your declared relationship and permission, the date, review status, account identifier and email address. The owner uses these to review your submission and verify your connection through official business or event sources. Public listings contain only the edited public fields; account contacts and review evidence are restricted to authorised reviewers. We keep a history of review decisions. Do not submit private personal information, medical information, passwords or information you do not have permission to share.

Pilot interests

When you register interest, we store your selected pilot, town, account identifier and date. This is not a WhatsApp or email subscription. You can withdraw your interest on the site. No messages or payments are sent by this feature.

Identity documents

Do not submit Omang copies, passport copies, identity numbers or other private documents. Dumela does not offer identity-document uploads. Sign-in establishes an account; it does not verify business ownership or professional qualifications.

Retention and requests

Favourites and pilot interests can be removed using their on-site controls. We currently retain suggestions and review history to manage the directory. They are not automatically deleted. To request access, a correction or deletion, email [email protected].

Sources and external websites

Directory entries come from linked public sources. Following a provider or ticket link takes you to another website with its own practices. Imported listings are not confirmation of current service availability. Dumela does not process ticket payments or appointments.

Website analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits, page views and page performance so we can improve Dumela. Cloudflare also provides the website’s DNS, HTTPS delivery and network protection.

Storage and sign-in

Krysalis Marketing operates Dumela. Structured account records are stored in Supabase in London, United Kingdom; Railway hosts the website. Supabase manages email sign-in. A necessary, HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in for up to one hour. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used by the site. The optional map loads from OpenStreetMap only after you choose to load it; that service receives a browser request, including network information. Sponsored promotions use first-party aggregate counts of ad responses and link clicks. They do not use an advertising cookie or store a visitor identifier in the advertising report. Abuse protection uses short-lived counters derived from account or network identifiers. Resend delivers account emails; Zoho handles enquiries.
